This week has been a very exciting week for us!! We went in to see our specialist Dr. Koster, who I love, for our first trimester screening. We found out that our babies are very healthy and we are having......2 girls and 1 boy!! We couldn't be happier!! I'm so glad we got a mix because I am done after this! There are so many joys of being pregnant but having multiples brings a whole lot of discomforts. The extreme nausea and fatigue, that my doctor said will most likely last my entire pregnancy due to the amount of hormones, is so wearing. I hate to complain because I'm so grateful but it is pretty hard some days to not go insane from the frustration of never feeling good. But what makes all of that worth it....seeing our babies on that ultrasound screen rolling around kicking their little legs and feet and already developing their little personalities. I'm already so in love with all three of them and can't wait to meet them!! Back to complaining........something I thought was going to be so fun, and it was in certain ways, turned out to be the most overwhelming process ever......registering for three babies!!! Holy cow!! I don't know how I made it out of the bottle section without throwing bottles at random people out of pure frustration! After spending 3 hours in buy buy baby I think I got most of it figured out. I am just continuing to take it day by day and always thank God for this wonderful blessing. Next thing I am looking forward to is feeling them move :)

10 Weeks
So we had another sonogram yesterday and it was so awesome, most exciting one yet! We could see all three babies kicking their feet and waving their arms around.....it looked liked they were having a dance party in my belly! I loved it!! It made it so much more real to see them moving and actually looking like babies and not little dots on a screen. It makes all the nausea worth it! Speaking of that I'm still having a lot of nausea but there is good days and bad days. It really helps to get out of the house and get some fresh air and be distracted but I absolutely hate getting ready! It takes everything in me to get off the couch and do it. It just takes every bit of energy I have to take a shower, put on makes and dry my hair. uuhh!! So hopefully when I hit my second trimester some of that energy I have lost will come back....we'll see. So apparently since I have three little bambinos my belly is measuring at the size of what a normal pregnancy would at 20 weeks! And my wonderful little sister thought it would be funny to google images of women in their third trimester that are pregnant with triplets.......needless to say I am a little freaked out at the thought of how massive I am going to get!! Regardless of all my worries and discomforts so far and I am just happy and so blessed to finally be pregnant and I and thrilled that my little dancing trio is healthy! Stay tuned I might be telling you guys the sex of the babies in my next post!!!! So excited!!

The Big Surprise!!!
This pregnancy has definitely started off a little rockier than I thought it would. Soon after my last post my pregnancy symptoms sky rocketed!! I have been sooo sick! I never thought I could want to eat so bad but yet be extremely repulsed by food at the same time. Such a strange feeling. Lets just say the majority of my hours are spent on the couch. My doctor finally put me on a medication called zofran to take away some of the nausea so I can keep some food and water down. Being on the zofran has allowed me to be able to leave the house finally, only with someone though. Driving myself is out of the question, it makes me feel ten times worse. Needless to say I have become quite dependent on others. Especially Simon. I haven't had any specific cravings for food but I can only eat what sounds good at that moment and nothing else. So poor Simon, my very loving and supportive husband :), has had to make numerous trips at all hours of the day and night to meet my very specific needs. I have to sit back and remind myself how much of a blessing this is and how much I wanted this and that is what helps me through the nausea the best. I just didn't realize how big the blessing was until yesterday. I was officially 7 weeks yesterday and we went in for our first sonogram with the infertility doctor. We were so excited and nervous, we just couldn't wait to hear that little heart beat and see that everything was ok. Thats when we got the big surprise. As soon as the sonographer started he almost immediately said "your having twins!" We were shocked and excited and overwhelmed! Then he says "wait I need to retract that statement, there is a third baby." What?!?! Wast the first thing that came out of my mouth, Simon had his jaw on the floor speechless, my mom who was with us was nearly laying on top of me face to face with the screen. It was the most surreal moment of my/our entire lives! it felt like a dream, a happy but scary and slightly overwhelming dream. Before he finished, I still can't decide if he was joking or being serious, he said "before I finish let me check to see if there is any more." I swear my body almost flung itself off the table. I was like stop it.....if there is another baby in there i'm not sure I want to know about it...haha! Thankfully only three babies.
What a whirlwind of a day. Now that I have had time to process it and have gotten a few panic attacks out of the way I realize how big of a blessing this is. After everything we have been through to get to this moment God has blessed us with three little miracles and I could't be happier, well maybe I could if I wasn't so nauseous :). We definitely have a busy road ahead of us but it is one that is going to be filled with three times the love and three times the happiness!

And it begins!
And the Journey begins! It has been a long and hard road to get here, which makes this moment that much sweeter. We have been trying to get pregnant for 1 and half years now. Infertility is one of the most painful things anyone could experience. I would never wish that pain on anyone. Simon and I have both undergone surgery in the beginning of 2012 for infertility issues. We tried naturally for several months with no success. Towards the end of September we decided to move forward and do our first round of IUI. It was successful. I will never forget the morning we saw that positive test, I thought my heart was going to stop. We were to the moon and back excited. Everything was going so good, then it happened. We got a call from my doctor saying that there was something wrong with my blood work. We went in for a sonogram to make sure everything was ok.....we lost the baby. My heart did stop then. Simon and I have never been so devastated and broken hearted in our lives. Like I said this Journey has been has been very difficult, but God is good. I have started to see the good that has come out of a horrible situation. Simon and I have drawn so close together, closer than we have ever been in our almost 5 year marriage. We share a bond with each other now that is so deep there are no words to describe it. I have seen huge changes in myself as well. I have grown up a lot in this past year and a half, I have created bonds with other women in my life that are going through the same things. Those women are now life long friends that I would of probably never had before.
Now for the happy part!! We took some time off during the holidays to heal mentally and physically and then decided to try IUI again the beginning of January. We found out on Friday January 18 that I am pregnant again! As we stared at the word PREGNANT on the home test we were so happy! but cautiously happy. We have had two blood tests now that look fantastic I am 5 weeks today and we go in for our first sonogram on February 8. I'm feeling very pregnant! Nauseous, Super tired all the time. No cravings yet, just trying to stay healthy....we'll see how long that lasts :)
